Christenings in the Church of England
Everyone is welcome to have their children christened in their parish church. During the christening service your child will be baptised. With the support of the church, you and the godparents, your child begins an amazing journey of faith.
All you need to know about planning and going to a Church of England christening can be found on: churchofenglandchristenings.org. It also includes information about another church service to say thank you to God for your baby.
Additional information
We provide a Baptism Preparation class for parents and godparents before your child's baptism. There are no fees for a baptism, but there may be a retiring collection after the service. Before making a booking, please come along to one of our Sunday services, and speak to either Mother Jane or a member of the team for more information about baptism at All Saints.
